PENTE

Pente is a board game that is very similar to Go-Moka. There are two differences between them. First-minor: an overline (a line of six or more consecutive stones) also wins, despite GOMOK. However, the second is conceptual: you can capture enemy stones. Another way to win the Pente game is to capture 10 enemy stones.

The goal of the Pente is to put five stones (chips) in a row, ahead of your opponent, or capture 10 enemy stones. A row of stones can be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal. A pente ends in a draw if the entire board is filled with stones, but no one has reached the goal.

Pente is played on a 19x19 board. In turn, each player places a stone at the intersection point. Black starts. Black's first move should be in the center of the playing field. White's first move can be anywhere. Black's second move must be within 5 by 5 squares in the center of the playing field. White's second move, and then all of them, can be anywhere.
