The brightness of this Minesweeper exceeds all similar versions. It's probably not quite right for developers to offer such bright colors for a logical puzzle, which, sometimes, you need to carefully look for options. In addition, the authors decided to make the colors of the open and closed fields minimally contrasting, so they merge with each other in the game, making it difficult to reconnoiter.
For all its brilliance, the rules have not changed at all. You still need to completely clear the minefield without ever hitting a mine. The number in the cell indicates the number of mines standing around it. You can check the box by pressing Shift on the cell.
