The classic interpretation of Spider Solitaire with 4 suits did not suit the Indians, of course. It is necessary to somehow differ from the rest of the world, they thought, and decided to make a number of their own amendments. Few people managed to change the rules of the Spider significantly, and the Indians did not succeed either.
Having introduced the impossibility of placing cards of the same suit on top of each other, the elders of the Indian tribes ran into an unsolvable problem — the probability of solitaire convergence fell below the skirting board of the teepee, so they had to soften the distribution of cards from the deck. It was decided not to scatter them in columns, but to flip through them in one slot, by analogy with the Kerchief, and not indefinitely, but once! In addition, stacks are allowed to be collected in the top slots, starting with the ace. I've made up my mind, said one of the council of elders, and that was settled. So the Indian Spider appeared.
