This rule applies only to bones lying at the edges, i.e. those with at least one open side. Thus, you can not choose a pair of knuckles located inside the structure not in the same neighborhood. Well, it's just like in any mahjong game.

Mahjong Connect 12 consists of 12 levels (that's why the number 12 is in the name!), on each of which the dice are laid out in a rectangular structure with only one tier. At the start of the level, the game timer starts, working according to a certain algorithm. The main thing that the player should remember about the timer. If you are idle, it confidently counts down the seconds and, after counting them to zero, will give the command to stop the game. If you periodically remove tiles from the field, then for each pair the timer gives you a bonus in the form of some time, crediting it to your account. Thus, if you disassemble mahjong quickly, you can not see the movement of time on the timer scale at all! Summary: once you come to play, don't sleep!

Let's say a few more words about the set of knuckles. From mahjong to mahjong, the tile sets may differ from one another. We are talking, of course, about drawings. Some dice games feature traditional mahjong bamboos, dots, numbers, birds, signs, and other philosophical paraphernalia of the sages. Others contain cards, toys, letters, or icons of your own invention. The game Mahjong Connect 12 has a mixed style of drawings on tiles. There are also some from Shanghai and some your own stuff. The latter include drawings of various animals: mouse, leopard, monkey, hippo, etc.

On the second one, everything is neutral — the bones remain in their places. At the third level, gravity pulls the released bones to the outer contour of the structure.

For beginners, the game is equipped with a hint button (a light bulb in the lower right corner). Initially, there are six of them, but it's easy to add 3 more and more... Professionals, of course, will not be interested in this feature.
