RACE ON THE HIGHWAY

You don't have to choose, the program assigns the car automatically. However, the difference is only in the dimensions of the equipment. Acceleration and deceleration dynamics, as well as cruising speeds, are the same for all types of cars in this game.

There is no specific goal. You just need to go ahead, overtaking vehicles that meet on the way. The further you go, the more points you'll earn. The race continues until the first collision. The first one, mind you! There's only one chance. If you crash — you'll have to start again. A pleasant factor is the safe shoulder of the highway. You can't crash into it. As for any transport: oncoming or passing, keep it away from your car. Even a light touch causes a car crash.

There is one special feature in the game. The race does not start after you press the start button (Play), but only when you press the gas button (up arrow). The car, we note, is perfectly controlled and almost instantly stops, it is only necessary to press the brake (down arrow). But maneuvering, especially at speed, is somewhat inert, which is good, because it adds interest to the race and a little realism.
