Why is the Mat so called? Cards are laid out in the form of a large rectangle, which in the light of the diversity of mismatched cards somewhat resembles a rug, especially if you play live on the table. Initially, the cards are laid open in 4 rows of 13 cards each, all except aces – instead of aces, there are free places. So in these places you need to put cards according to the principle: the card on the right must be 1 older than the card on the left and must be of the same suit.

In this online version of solitaire, the card that can be moved is highlighted with a green outline. Solitaire is considered established if you manage to place all the cards by suit and in order from left to right, starting with two in each of the four rows.
