«Thirty-one is a card game where the player's task is to collect combinations of cards that exceed the opponents by points. Below we will look at these combinations and try to understand the procedure for making them.

The rules of the game say the following. The game is played in rounds of two rounds each. Players are dealt three cards each. The same amount is placed on the table and maintained during the round for exchanging those who wish. Each of the participants in their turn can exchange any one of their cards for any of the cards on the table, or exchange all three at once (Swap). If no replacement is required, you can skip the move (Pass). To replace a single card, simply select it with the pointer and click on it, and then click on the desired card on the table.

What is the purpose of such an exchange? The contestant must try to beat at least one opponent in each round by the total score of their cards. The game involves you and three virtual opponents, their names: Sarah, Robert and Nancy. The scoring system is simple. Cards-numbers are counted according to their face value (eight = 8, ten = 10, etc.), pictures are evaluated as follows:: Ace - 11, King, Queen and Jack - 10. But the most important thing is that only one suit takes part in scoring! Also, the rules value three cards of the same face value at 30.5 points.

Let's use an example to explain the combination options and their points.

• Jack + Queen + Ace = 31 points.
• King + Jack + Queen = 30 points.
• 8 + Ace + Queen = 29 points.
• 7 + 7 + 7 = 30 points.

After the round, the contestant with the lowest number of points is revealed. He loses one virtual life. Initially, the game gives everyone 6 virtual lives. Thus, the game lasts at least six rounds. In practice, it is rare for someone to be so unlucky, of course, so focus on 8-10 rounds.
