COLOR LINES 98

A great version of the game, known by fans since 1998 under different names. Lines, Lines, Lines or just Balls-this variety indicates the high former popularity of the game. However, it is still loved by many, because the simplicity and conciseness of the presentation are successfully combined with clear, but difficult logic and moderate random events.

The square field is divided into 81 cells. Each of them is a small square that can hold only one colored ball. Balls fall out in random cells — this is done by the program. Well, the player's task is to make lines of one-color balls, lining them up in five or more pieces horizontally, vertically or diagonally. If a line of five or more identical balls is drawn, it disappears.

By the way, if a line is formed on the field and disappears, then after such a move, new balls do not fall out. In other cases, if you rearranged the ball, but the line did not form, then three additional balls of random color appear on the field in random cells.

Lines 98 has no ultimate goal. The game continues as long as there are free cells on the playing field. As soon as the last empty cell is occupied by the ball, the game ends. It is in the player's power to prevent this from happening for as long as possible, correctly and timely removing the lines from the field.
