RULES AND FEATURES
This complexSudoku is a real el dorado for fans of these numerical puzzles. The difficulty of the game is represented by the following options, according to the number of cells in the squares:
- 4x4
- 6x6
- 8x8
- 9x9
- 12x12
- 16x16
Among these options, there are those that are great for beginners (simple 4x4, 6x6), there are those that will be appreciated by amateurs (8x8, 9x9), and complex options, for example: 12x12 or 16x16, can be too tough even for pros. However, Sudoku experts, looking at such dimensions, will immediately ask a question. How are squares with a side of more than nine cells even suitable for Sudoku? After all, each digit in a small square must be unique! The question, in this case, is solved by the authors elegantly — with the help of symbols. If you are familiar with, say, the hexadecimal number system, then you will immediately guess what we are talking about.
In the largest version (16 by 16), the small square consists of 16 cells (4x4), and the large square is composed of 16 small ones, i.e. it has a side of 16 cells. In this case, the digital row will be represented by iterating over hexadecimal digits: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,A, B, C, D, E, F. The 12-cell version is filled with a truncated set (up to C) of the digital row presented above.
To make it easier for you, the game developers have placed possible variants of the correct solution in each cell, thereby reducing the time for thinking and choosing a number, eliminating incorrect substitutions in advance.
