RULES AND FEATURES
Extremely tenacious and successful version of Tetris comes from the 90s of the last century. It was produced and sold in the form of an oblong block with a small vertical LCD screen at the top. In the middle of the block there was a recess for fixing it with your fingers. This box could also make sounds, and they were very loud and memorable. This block contained 1,000 games, including Tetris and its many interpretations. In the 90s, this game was played everywhere: on benches in parks, on public transport, etc. Some of them still have such blocks.
The authors of this online game almost exactly recreated its prototype on the screen. Here is only Tetris! The splash screen shows a Google dinosaur running in place. Here is the same small virtual screen-an exact copy of the screen of the same block. Statistics and settings are displayed on the right side of the scoreboard.
The points-record field shows the number of points scored in the last game and the maximum result. The 1st line (Removed) field in the game shows the number of lines removed, and in settings mode it allows you to set how many lines from blocks will already be on the screen at the start time. The first line is set using the Rotate and Down buttons (or the up and down arrows).
The Level field sets the game speed (it automatically increases during the game). It is adjusted during the settings process by using the right-left buttons or the keyboard arrows of the same name. There is a field below that shows the type of the next shape. Even lower — the current time, sound and pause indicators.
On the left is the Tetris game glass itself. Its size is 10 by 20, i.e. 10 columns and 20 rows. Recall the problem. The figures falling into the glass should be put into the glass as tightly as possible. Completely filled lines formed during the game disappear from the glass, freeing up space. The more lines you remove, the better. However, the longer you play, the faster the pieces will fall, significantly reducing your time to make a decision on laying a particular block. A large round Reset button helps you score points faster. It allows you to quickly drop the block into the glass. Just remember to put it in the correct position first.
To start (or restart) the game, tap the red Start button. The game is incredibly addictive. You can play this Tetris game for hours!
